Lilith

A Bit of Black Flame about Lilith.....I've worked with Lilith extensively and know a few things about her.The earliest surviving mention of Lilith’s name appears in Gilgamesh and the Huluppu-Tree, a Sumerian epic poem found on a tablet at Ur and dating from approximately 2000 B.C.E. The mighty ruler Gilgamesh is the world’s first literary hero; he boldly slays monsters and vainly searches for the secret to eternal life.a In one episode, “after heaven and earth had separated and man had been created,” Gilgamesh rushes to assist Inanna, goddess of erotic love and war. In her garden near the Euphrates River, Inanna lovingly tends a willow (huluppu) tree, the wood of which she hopes to fashion into a throne and bed for herself. Inanna’s plans are nearly thwarted, however, when a dastardly triumvirate possesses the tree. Then in steps Lilith: “Inanna, to her chagrin, found herself unable to realize her hopes. For in the meantime a dragon had set up its nest at the base of the tree, the Zu-bird had placed his young in its crown, and in its midst the demoness Lilith had built her house.” Wearing heavy armor, Gilgamesh kills the dragon, causing the Zu-bird to fly to the mountains and Lilith to flee “to the desert.”Originating about the same time as the Gilgamesh epic is a terracotta plaque, known as the Burney Relief, that some scholars have identified as the first known pictorial representation of Lilith. (More recently, scholars have identified the figure as Inanna.) The Babylonian relief shows her as a beautiful, naked sylph with bird wings, taloned feet and hair contained under a cap decorated with several pairs of horns. She stands atop two lions and between two owls, apparently bending them to her will. Lilith’s association with the owl—a predatory and nocturnal bird—bespeaks a connection to flight and night terrors. The Tetragrammaton is considered “the name that comprises all” (Zohar 19a). In the Bible’s burning bush episode of Exodus 3, God explains the meaning of the divine name as “I am what I am,” or “I will be what I will be,” a kind of formula for YHWH (vuvh), associated with the Hebrew root “to be.” The whole of the Torah is thought to be contained within the holy name. In The Alphabet, Lilith sins by impudently uttering the sacred syllables, thereby demonstrating to a medieval audience her unworthiness to reside in Paradise. So Lilith flies away, having gained power to do so by pronouncing God’s avowed name.In the Gilgamesh and Isaiah episodes, Lilith flees to desert spaces. In The Alphabet of Ben Sira her destination is the Red Sea, site of historic and symbolic importance to the Jewish people. Just as the ancient Israelites achieve freedom from Pharaoh at the Red Sea, so Lilith gains independence from Adam by going there.YHVH tells Adam that if Lilith fails to return, 100 of her children must die each day. Apparently, Lilith is not only a child-murdering witch but also an amazingly fertile mother. In this way, she helps maintain the world’s balance between good and evil.A very Luciferian act indeed.Three angels are sent in search of Lilith. When they find her at the Red Sea, she refuses to return to Eden, claiming that she was created to devour children. Ben Sira’s story suggests that Lilith is driven to kill babies in retaliation for Adam’s mistreatment and God’s insistence on slaying 100 of her progeny daily. To prevent the three angels from drowning her in the Red Sea, Lilith swears in the name of God that she will not harm any infant who wears an amulet bearing her name. Ironically, by forging an agreement with God and the angels and using the name, Lilith demonstrates that she has power over YHVH and can Bind him to her will.A theory about the creation of this Lilith story, is that Ben Sira’s tale is in its entirety a deliberately satiric piece that mocks the Bible, the Talmud and other rabbinic exegeses. Indeed, The Alphabet’s language is often coarse and its tone irreverent, exposing the hypocrisies of biblical heroes such as Jeremiah and offering “serious” discussions of vulgar matters such as masturbation, flatulence and copulation by animals.A parable by Judith Plaskow Goldenberg shows a more Luciferian view of Lilith. At first Goldenberg’s fanciful tale follows the basic Ben Sira plot line: Lilith dislikes being subservient to Adam, so she flees Paradise and her absence inspires God to create Eve. But in Goldenberg’s retelling, the exiled Lilith is lonely and tries to re-enter the garden. Adam does everything he can to keep her out, inventing wildly untrue stories about how Lilith threatens pregnant women and newborns. One day Eve sees Lilith on the other side of the garden wall and realizes that Lilith is a woman like herself. Swinging on the branch of an apple tree, a curious Eve catapults herself over Eden’s walls where she finds Lilith waiting. As the two women talk, they realize they have much in common, “till the bond of sisterhood grew between them.” The budding friendship between Lilith and Eve puzzles and frightens both man and deity. And then there's the Zohar...but that's for another post. The Qliphoth

The Qliphoth /Qlippoth/Qelippot or Kelipot (Heb. קליפות, literally "Peels", "Shells" or "Husks" (from singular: קליפה Qliphah/Kelipah "Husk"), The realm of evil is also termed "Sitra Achra/Ahra" (Aramaic סטרא אחרא, the "Other Side" opposite holiness) in Kabbalah texts. The Tree of Death is what I'm going to be talking about today, and the paths upon it known as the tunnels of Set.There are many good, and some not so grand works on the Kelipot including Scales of the Black Serpent - Basic Qlippothic Magick by Michael W. Ford,Nightside of Eden by Kenneth Grant,Nightshades: a Tourist Guide to the Nightside by Jan Fries,Sabbatica, the Seas of Death and the Arcanna of Deathbringer by Edgar Kerval and S. Ben Qayin and the classic we all draw from Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlsson and Timo Ketola.....This is just a small sample I will be pulling from, there are many more. Now According to Scholem, the Zohar interprets evil as "the residue of the hidden life's organic processes." Evil is something which has been cast off, but the spark of Life, from God, has fallen upon it, giving it "life". It is a form without force inside it, a hollow shell, an empty illusion. It is the cast off "skin" of the Sephiroth. The Zohar has often explained the Qliphoth to be the forces responsible for the lack of the continuation of human evolution. The reason behind this is that the Qliphoth, who can easily exist in the Great Void due to their "nature", feed off of Entropy. Now there is the Idea that the ideal shape of the higher dimensional continuum of the universe is the shape of a tube torus, then the Abyss that the Qliphoth seem to come from is the empty middle of the torus. It is the zero point of the dimensional continuum. If the Qliphoth had to cross the center of this dimensional or temporal continuum to get here (it is likely that this crossing happened at the Fracturing in the times of Atlantis), then they came from the Abyss and their momentum was fundamentally backwards to ours. Instead of living off of the energy of Flow as we do, the Qliphoth lived off of the negative energy of Entropy, or when energy is dispersed, due to death, or other means of Entropy. How to get to the torus you ask?Well the way most of us use is Lilith , and it is within her that the magician must seek the other Qlipoth. It is toward her that the magical pentagram is pointing. The pentagram of dark magic points toward the earth, the soil, toward ancient times and the primordial. It is here that one finds the Qlipoth. The Qlipoth are the reality that we refuse to see. A dark magician does not, like the adept of the light tradition stare up at the heavens in search of some heavenly utopian world. A dark magician gazes down toward the earth to seek the treasures that have been hidden for thousands of years. The womb of Lilith is the grave that the dark adept freely enters, down into the kingdom of death and the underworld in an initiatory journey towards rebirth. Actually, to find the Lilith Qlipha is the first difficulty for the Qliphotic magician. Lilith is the anti-world to our mundane world, Malkuth. This means that it exists in the middle of our world, but in aspects in which man is normally unaware. Through an exploration of the principals of which the mundane world consists, one can find the Lilith Qlipha by going beyond and against these principles. The normal awakened state of mind is the basic level of consciousness in human existence. Sleep is the absence of the awakened state, and sleep is also the womb of the Lilith Qlipha. Repressed parts of our mind appear in dreams and can often take on a demonic shape reflecting both our desire and our fear.According to Karlsson,If the following formula is chanted 13 times, Lilith is supposed to appear: marag ama lilith rimok samalo naamah,This works, but there is a fine lady you must talk with first,Naamah. She has been called the daughter or younger sister of Lilith. In visions she appears as a mighty queen dressed in precious garments and jewels. Sometimes she is seductive, but other times she might have a tyranical character. When the magician wants to channel the force of the Qlipha, Nammah is called upon. This force is mainly used in rituals regarding the influence and control of the material level. Lilith is the dark side of the Shekinah, and she corresponds to the Gnostic Sophia and the tantric Shakti. In Tantric terminology, Lilith corresponds to the backside or inside of the Muladhara Chakra. Muladhara is the energy zone that is located between the anus and the genitals, which is where the sleeping dragon (Kundalini) rests. Now this is just the tip of the Abyss when it comes to this deep subject, but it should give all you Luciferi out there food for thought,Happy walking, and may the Black Flame light your way.  Copyright 2015 Vincent Piazza

Baalzebul

A brother asked about Info on Baalzebul ,and I know him quite well ,so this is what I shall talk on today....we should start with The Testament of Solomon,as it was considered a veritable handbook of evocation. This masterful text fully expounds and crystallizes an exorcistic formula which existed from at least the second century BCE and continued to be a major influence in other related texts beyond the fifth century CE The formula begins with the identification of the demon: the demon is asked its name, to which the demon replies its name. This is followed by a question that places the demon into an astrological schema. This may include descriptive elements and is followed by a description of the physical appearance and abode. The demon is also quizzed about its deeds, powers and activities. The rite is concluded by the demon disclosing the name of the binding angel who thwarts it. The demon is thus bound to come at the summoning of the exorcist due to this original contract between them. In his Testament, the first demon dealt with by Solomon is named Ornias. Ornias is constrained, Solomon then gives the demon his ring and says 'Away with thee, and bring me hither the prince of all the demons.' Solomon then tells 0rnias 'And go to Beelzeboul who has kingship over the demons and throwing the ring upon Bee/zeboul's chest tell him the King Solomon calls thee. The Lord God of Israel, who has given me this authority, with wisdom and power from God, by means of this signet.' Solomon then questions the summoned demon 'Who art thou?' to which the demon replies 'I am Beelzebub.' The ruler of the demons then promises that he will bring all the spirits in bonds before Solomon. Once Beelzeboul is contracted he becomes the agency to bring forth all the other demons or spirits, including the demons 0nos~eris and Asmo8eus. Later Beelzeboul is summoned again and he describes how he was the only one left from the fallen angels, originally the first angel, in the first heaven, and that he controls all those in Tartarus, and of his child who will come in triumph when he is ready. Then Solomon questions the Prince 'What is thy employment?' to which he replies 'I destroy kings, I ally myself with foreign tyrants, and my own demons I set on to men, in order that the latter may believe in them and be 10st.And the chosen servants of God, priests and faithful men, I excite unto desires for wicked sins, and evil heresies, and lawless deeds; and they obey me, and I bear them on to destruction. And I inspire men with envy, and desire for murder, and for wars and sodomy, and other evil things and I will destroy the world. I bring about jealousies and murders in a country, and I instigate wars.' Solomon asks 'Tell me in which star you reside.' The Prince replies 'The one called by men the Evening Star.' 'Tell me by what angel thou art frustrated.' And he answered: 'By the holy and precious name of the Almighty God, called by the Hebrews by a row of numbers, of which the sum is six hundred and forty-four, and among the Greeks it is Emmanuel.' Solomon then orders Beelzeboul to work on the construction of the Temple and receives further astrological discourse. Thus, the ring is used initially to constrain the first demon, but after the Prince of Demons is subdued and promises to bring another demon to be bound before Solomon, the ring is used sparingly. This is followed by the identification question 'Who are you?' and 'What is your name?' to which the demon replies with a self-identification 'I am ... ' or 'I am called ... · or 'My name is .. .' or 'I am known by the name .. .' This is followed by a self-characterization by the demon which may include astrological correspondence, then a description, the physical appearance, activities, dwelling place, etc., then the name of the thwarting angel, then the sealing or contract, and the employment or commissioning of them to do some task or work. In the case of their employment in the Testament, one of the many different tasks relates to the construction of the Temple.
An example highlighting the idea of demonic flux in relation to authority is found in the writings of Johannes Wierusl6 (c.l515-1588) in which a demonical Commonwealth is seen in full development. In many respects this reflected existing political tensions and the movement towards the ascendancy of parliamentary over monarchical powers in the sixteenth century. Weirus describes a great revolution taking place in Hades; .Satan has been dethroned and Beelzeboul has assumed his place. In reaction • .Satan forms an opposition party with himself as head. The now Emperor of Hades. Beelzeboul. was said to have been worshipped by the people of Canaan in the form of a fly. hence he establishes 'The Order of the Fly' - the only Order of Knighthood which appears to have existed among the demons. The inhabitants of the Empire of Hell were said to have numbered 44.435,156. A qabalistic parallel to these two opposing parties is to be found in the representation of the Qlipoth of Kether as expounded in The Book of the Black Serpent' and applied in the teachings of the magical order of the Golden Dawn. Here an inversion of the unity of the first sphere of the Tree of Life belonging to Thaumiel the 'bicephalous ones' is ruled by the two contenders Satan and Moloch. The dyadic nature of the demonic is also reflected in the name 'Diabolus',whose etymology from the Greek reveals dia, that is two, and bolus, that is morsel ' ... for he kills two things, the body and the soul."
From a dualist perspective, demons are the agencies of God; they were seen as 'customs officers' to the souls of the dead and goalers for those who fell through sin, via their own free will. This function satiated the malicious nature of the demon, profited from their hatred of humanity, and fulfilled their love of inflicting pain and suffering. All misfortune, caused by demons or not, was considered the fault of the individual. If a man was being tormented by demons he was beyond hope. as this was the will of God. Herein lies a paradox. for demons as the agents of God could provide the means by which others were ensured of salvation. but they themselves were beyond salvation. In this light Beelzeboul becomes the irredeemable redeemer. As Lucifenians we may disregard all or part of this Mythology as the Black Flame guides us,I've found it is best just to call him up and ask direct. That's just a taste of the Info on the Old man....Copyright 2015 Vincent Piazza

The Left Hand Path of Taoism

I'd like to talk about The Left Hand Path of Taoism. These are the ones that follow the “Tao of the Left”, “Left Handed Paths” or “Side Doors” teachings. They practice sorcery that is extremely fierce. Some of them have great spiritual powers, and some are Tricksters out for the money(sounds like a few LHP Brothers and Sisters we all know).Taoist Sorcery comes in many different forms it may be elements such as Wood, Earth, Metal,Water, and Fire combined. They may even use spirits of the deceased to do their bidding, words and sounds (mantra) formulated into certain vibrations to effect a physical change in others, the earth’s meridian, astrological constellations, natural energies, guardians, spirits and beings that inhabits the mountain, forest, or even a lake. Whether it’s white or black magic depends on the motivation of the practitioners. It is usually used to fulfill some wish quickly that is impossible to accomplish by normal means. For me the Path of Taoism is Very Luciferian,The 10th through 14th centuries saw an outgrowth of Taoist factions, many of which were forthright in their practice of magic, and decried by older, more philosophical schools. Some examples include the White Lotus Society (from the 12th to 19th Century), the Golden Elixir Society and the Righteous Harmony Fist, or the "Boxers," for whom the Boxer Rebellion was named. These secret societies invariably absorbed secretive and sometimes even criminal practices; many of the Triads claim to trace their descent to these groups, and even today the Triads embrace taoist symbolism in their naming conventions ,In South East Asia sorcery is rampant. There are numerous types of sorcery practiced, especially love spell or infatuation spell, sorcery to ruin a rival business, sorcery to cause death, insanity, separation, and even to cause a victim impotent!
In Indonesia a renowned type of poison called “Santau” is feared by the community there. Any victims that happen to consume such poison suffer an impending death within three months or even a shorter lifespan depending on the toxicity of the poison. This type of poison is most lethal as it is odorless and colorless, it can just blend and dissolve into any food or drinks without causing any suspicion when the intended victim consumed it. The victim internal organs are gradually damaged by the poison as it also contains arsenic, victims tend to cough profusely. The reason is because one of the key ingredient comprise of small particles of shaven bamboo shoots that can cause irritation to the throat. But That's just sorcery, and just a small part of what I'm talking about here, when it comes to Luciferism and Taoism I leave you with these words...To know the male (strength), but to abide by the female (care), is to be the valley of the world (or: universal stream). Being the valley of the world, and departing not from the everlasting power , one again returns to the infant . To know the white (pe, the yang principle), but to abide by the black (heh, the yin), is to be exemplar for the world. Being exemplary, and deviating not from the everlasting power, one again returns to the unlimited (wu-chi). To know the illustrious, but to abide by the obscure, is to be the valley of the world. Being the valley of the world, one’s everlasting power being full, one again returns to the uncarved block (untouched nature, simplicity) (p’u)…. The great don’t cut (the uncarved nature).

The practice of "black magic" grew, describing what was believed to be a perversion of pure Taoist ritual for secular, tainted magic, which often did not hesitate to draw on the names of older, more prestigious schools in the search for legitimacy. This spread of black magic was countered with the introduction of "Thunder Magic," a new practice meant for combating black magic. By t

The last great synthesis of magic

I ran across something very interesting in my studies as of late, the Geosophia vol 1 by Jake Stratton-Kent states that the last great synthesis of magic occurred in the Hellenistic world; formulated in the great schools of Neoplatonism and Hermeticism, and incorporating astrology and the Graco -Egyptian roots of alchemy. Major factors in these fusions were the older traditions of Chaldean star-lore and Greek goetia.(we can also add African and Persian roots to this melting pot) Although modern occultists often imagine the roots of their tradition lie in the Kabbalah, this is in fact a medieval system that did not enter Western magic until the Renaissance: with Mirandola and Agrippa in the 1490s.(as well as John Dee and influence from The Enchiridion) Even then, Kabbalah,at lest those parts of Kabbalah incorporated in modern magic, involve a good deal of earlier Hellenistic origin and thought. The Spheres of the Primum Mobile, fixed srars, the seven planets and the Earth were integral parts of the Neoplatonism asrronomical model.Neoplatonism can be traced back to the era of Hellenistic syncretism which spawned such movements and schools of thought as Gnosticism and the Hermetic tradition. Thus, the order of the planets corresponding to the sefirot of the Tree of Life essentially originates in Neoplatonism and Ptolemaic astrology. The encounter between the creation narrative of Genesis and the cosmology of Plato's Timaeus set in motion a long tradition of cosmological theorizing that finally culminated in the grand schema of Plotinus' Enneads. The connection of these categories with letters, names and numbers by modern ritual magicians, whether they follow Agrippa or the Golden Dawn, also derives directly from Neoplatonist pagan magicians. Nor is this a superficial resemblance; Neoplatonism is - after all - the origin of the Logos doctrine fundamental to Christian theology, and the deity without attributes central to that of the Kabbalists. This is a game changer for Pagan magicians and Luciferains everywhere, our early Hellenistic origins need to be brought up more and studied with greater depth so that we can move from the prevalent Judeo-Christian modes of Western magic and Occultism.  Copyright 2015 Vincent Piazza
